I just had to come over and say thank you for leaving such a lovely comment on my "She's All That" post...I had to laugh at your Mom's "kill them with kindness" remark. It was one I heard from my own mother so often! My grandmother always told us to smile at our enemies to confuse them...wise old woman that she was! Yes, I did know that the shamrock was the Father, Son and Holy Spirit...learned it in Catechism as a child. Those are some sweet precious pictures you have here...no pinching going on here! Sandi
My name is Mona E. I'm an Artist, thus, "Monarte". I'm an Airforce"brat", thanks Daddy. Best kind of brat to be. My Mother looks my age, she's the Greatest Mother. They made me feel loved. Taught me "Jesus Loves Me". I hope my kids say such nice things about me some day. Ok, I'm 58. I grew up all over the US, but I'm a southern girl. Fell in love with a northern boy, named Bill. His Last name is Ukrainian, begins with an E, most people can't pronounce.(OH, he was a boy when we met, 17, I was 15) Married 39 yrs Yes!, to each other, he's still-My Man. We have 3 Children, 2 Girls and a Boy, 2 Grand Daughters 5 & 18mo's and one on the way. I've had many jobs. My first job, at 16 was at McDonalds. Complaining about my job, my Daddy said "thats why they spell it, J-o-b, and not f-u-n, because it's w-o-r-k". But I wanted a job that was fun, and I found it, as former Art Teacher. Retired & Happy to now be my own Artist, I love it. I just pray for the T-i-m-e, to do the Art I love, after I put my Man (Hubby) and family first. After Jesus they will always come first.
